On February 12, 2025, the NRC issued a notice of violation (Notice) to Fairbanks Gold Mining, Inc. (licensee) for a Severity Level (SL) III violation. The SL III violation involved the licensee’s failure to have gauge services performed only by persons specifically licensed by the NRC or an Agreement State to perform such services.
